The Ubiquitous Computing Evaluation Consortium, coordinated by the Center for Education Policy at SRI International, includes partner organizations and dissemination partners.

Our goals are:

  1. To create and maintain an active network of evaluators of K-12 one-to-one computing initiatives, focusing on mathematics and science education
  2. To develop an evaluation framework and new evaluation tools appropriate for examining ubiquitous computing initiatives that use laptops, PDAs, or other devices
  3. To generate new knowledge about ubiquitous computing
  4. To disseminate information to federal, state, and local policymakers and practitioners

Dissemination partners are organizations that will assist in distributing the evaluation materials, findings, and information that will result from the Consortium's work.
